Delete your account

You can permanently delete your PetsMatchy account from the app. This page is for App Store and Google Play reviewers and for users who need the steps in a browser.

In the app

  1. Open PetsMatchy and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings (owners) or Vet settings (clinic accounts).
  3. Open Delete account in the danger zone.
  4. Confirm you understand the account cannot be recovered, type DELETE, and enter your password.

Deletion is processed by our backend (a dedicated delete-account function) and requires your password. After it succeeds you are signed out.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@petsmatchy.com from the same address as your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify it is you before proceeding.

What is removed

Your login and profile data are removed as described in the Privacy Policy. Content you posted is taken down from the live service. Other users’ copies (for example screenshots) are outside our control. Backup systems may retain copies for a short time until they rotate.
